FORCE ON FORCE TRAINING

We at Elite Defense Training Group train to build the skills necessary for you to be able to protect yourself and loved ones. This includes firearms training with force on force, hand to hand fighting skills based on the world's most effective self-defense system, Krav Maga.

 

Learn by dealing with realistic situations to see how you will perform under stress in a safe environment. Is your firearm the first choice? Is it the best choice? This course will show you how and when you should draw your weapon. We will also cover other options that may have never crossed your mind.

COURSE INSTRUCTOR

Juan has trained under Nir Maman in Active Shooter Intervention. He has also trained under Frank Sepulveda (NYPD Swat/High Threat Drug Enforcement) in tactical firearms training, in addition to other top instructors, including Massad Ayoob.

Juan has been a self-defense practitioner for well over 20 years. He is currently a Blackbelt under CT707 Israeli Special Forces Krav Maga under Nir Maman.

He has studied with Rick Blitstein & Alan Feldman, two of Imi Lichtenfeld's original practitioners responsible for growing Krav Maga in the United States. In addition to other well known practitioners of Krav Maga, he has studied with Sean Or with an emphasis in law enforcement and Body Guard Protection.

Juan is currently certified in the following;

-CT707-Krav Maga Blackbelt and Instructor-

1 of 8 blackbelts worldwide under Nir Maman

-FIMA Certified Instructor 

-Certified Firearms Instructor-

-Certified Range Safety Officer

Here are a few answers to our most common questions

  • Fist question everyone asks...Does it hurt?

    It can hurt but pain is a good teacher. We supply all protective gear required. We highly recommend gloves to protect your hands but that still allow you to handle a firearm with no interference.

  • Gear List?

    • If you have your own airsoft pistol or training gun and would like to use it, please let us know.
    • Concealed holster or OWB holster - AIWB Kydex recommended - MUST ATTACH DIRECTLY TO YOUR BELT - no sticky or pocket holsters. No Surpa type holsters.
    • Eye protection-Provided
    • Groin guard (for men). No excuses! Women, groin protection is available.
    • Pistol Permit or proof of no criminal record that can be obtained via sentry link here WITH a copy of your drivers license (or any state/federal ID)

    Personal Gear-Closed toed shoes/boots, pants, belt, and t-shirt (highly recommend wearing clothing you do not mind getting dirty and/or damaged)

  • Are Simunitions safe?

    The ammo used is non lethal ammo. It is also supplied for the course. DO NOT Bring any Live Ammo to this course.

  • Training Location?

    This course is an indoor course at our sister company Elite Combatives in Fairfield CT.

  • Refund Policy?

    All courses are non-refundable. If you cannot make it to the course for whatever reason you may reschedule to an upcoming course of equal or lessor value up to one week before the course you registered for (within one year). Courses are not transferable to other people.
